Today I went Downtown to shoot some more pictures of buildings and Architecture. I was having a great time finding cool shots block to block for about an hour. As I came up a side street I saw an old fire escape ladder hanging of a building  of old colorful antique brick. So I positioned myself for the shot crouching to stable the camera and took a few shots. As i took the final shot I notice a police car pulling up for behind me. After shooting I look over and there he was sitting in the car looking back at me. Looked almost like Blade from the movie, he looked over and said in a macho like voice," Whatcha Doin?" My instincts are screaming for me to reply, "Really!!!" But nicely I say i am taking picture of the old buildings. He grunted and pulled off. I was in a zone until then, but couldn't regain it after that experience.... REALLY.

Thanks!

I figured out the first one (Koi Fish 1 on here, I think) when I was just kind of messing around, trying to reuse a canvas I'd started something else on! It turned into something I liked, and it's evolved a lot from there. Now I do very thin, painstaking layers, and they take absolutely forever, but that's how the lines are so clean and the colours are so bright. A LOT of patience required!!:D
